the drug war is failing because you can’t simply limit or restrict in anyway what someone does to their own body. Think about it, your body is the only thing you physically personally have when it comes down to it. Laws that say people have use certain substances is sort of psychologically telling us that we don’t have complete say over my body. This argument can also be applied to abortion and mercy killings (a mercy killing is when someone is living with a condition of constant unbearable pain or severe discomfort rendering them immobile, and they ask to just be chemically killed), this happens more often in countries that don’t have a developed medical system. At the end of the day when a person decides they are going to ingest anything nothing ,not even the threat of punishment, is going to stop them.
